This week’s Real Food Meal Plan is all about easy dinners that the whole family will love. Easy chicken lettuce wraps, beer battered cod and a great slow cooker Mississippi chuck roast are all on the menu, together with a crowd-pleasing sangria and a dual purpose sweet potato dough.
School finished for the summer this week, and I would love to say that I can see two months of lazy days stretching before me. Unfortunately, it suddenly hit me that Christmas is in two weeks time, and I am not at all organised. Cue frantic shopping and present wrapping. The upside is that The Princess is now old enough to help, and I can assign the wrapping job to her.
The value of a meal plan really becomes apparent when the rest of life starts to spin out of control. In this week’s fall menu we bring to you some easy dishes the whole family will love, and my spring menu is all about simple proteins and easy sides. Enjoy!

This is the second site I’ve seen today with a recipe for sweet potato bread! Given that sweet potatoes are my favourite veggie, I think the universe is telling me something.
