This week’s plan is full of easy dinner recipes for kids and adults alike. Try our spicy grilled chicken, tortilla boats or san choy bow, and finish off with delicious cheesecake cupcakes.
We all have those days when cooking a meal is the last thing we feel like doing. I don’t buy a lot of convenience foods, but I like to keep some on hand to pull out when I really don’t want to cook. Nestled alongside the tacos and tortilla chips are my new favourite – Indian spice wrap kits from The Spice Tailor. And this week you have the opportunity to try these kits for yourself. I have partnered with The Spice Tailor to give one lucky reader a chance to win their very own stash of wrap kits. Just scroll to the end of the page and enter.
Our summer menu this week is jammed with easy dinner recipes for kids and adults alike. Spicy grilled chicken, tortilla boats and san choy bow all give the kids a great opportunity to play with their food. And finish off your meal with our delicious raspberry swirl cheesecake cupcakes. Enjoy!

Torn with what my favourite is.
I love a hot chicken rezala or but also love a prawn achari.

My favourite is Lamb Pasanda, so delicious i could eat it every day!

Who can go past a good Rogan Josh? Not me!
One of my husband’s favourites too 😀
I have started getting a small takeaway from the Indian restaurant near work once a week. So many new curries I’ve never had. Love a palak paneer, lamb korma and butter chicken.
Oooh I do like a good palak paneer Holly, but a good one is tricky to find. Good luck!!
Korma, bit boring but the kids like it so everyone is happy
It’s a huge hit in our house too Diane.
I can’t go past without lickin’
A smokey Tandoori chicken!
At the aromas my mouth starts to salivate
And it just won’t stop until it I have ate!
If there’s a flaming chilli with the taste
Then I won’t let pickles and chutney go to waste!
And now sadly I’ve got to run
Coz I’m off to go and eat some 😉
That’s pretty clever Sean 😀 I’m a huge fan of Tandoori too. Good luck!!
My favourite Indian dish is vegetable korma with mango chicken. Mild and yummy.
Sounds delish Jane.
I love Tandoori chicken!
Me too!!
Nothing beats a curry on a cold winter night, except maybe leftover curry for lunch the next day! My favourite with have to be palak paneer, or dhal makhani… it’s too hard to choose between the two!
I’m with you Moni. Curry always tastes better the next day. Good luck!!
I love Dahl but I can never get mine to have as much flavour as when I have it at a restaurant.
Likewise Hannah. But try the The Spice Tailor’s dahl kits. I have stopped making my own since finding these. They are full of flavour and so easy to make.
Beef vindaloo – I like mine super hot!
Too hot for me Sarah 😀 Good luck!!
I just love butter chicken
So do I Bronwyn. Good luck!!
I love Chicken Tikka Masala with lots of basmati and garlic naan. Delicious!
Couldn’t agree more Rebecca. I’ve been thinking of making my own naan of late. Now you have me dreaming of it 😀
Lamb rogan josh is fantastic…mostly because it has lamb.
Have to disagree there Miranda 😉 😀 But my husband loves it.
