This weeks’ Real Food Meal Plan includes a healthy lentil soup, dukkah-crusted oven baked salmon fillets, and a simple ham and cheese frittata that is ideal for using up the leftover Christmas ham. Combine this with an easy sheet pan chicken dinner, icebox cookies and zesty mimosas and you are on the right track for the New Year.
And just like that it is the last week of the year! Time to start making resolutions and setting goals for the new year ahead. I’ve not made a meal plan this week as we have been surviving on leftovers from Christmas Day, and I have been foraging in the freezer to fill the gaps. It seems that there really is such a thing as too much ham and salad. And I haven’t even started in on the ham in my own fridge yet.
Despite my personal deficiencies in the meal planning department, thanks to my fellow bloggers we are still able to bring you a great menu for next week that will take the stress out of mealtimes. So without further ado:
Sunday: Healthy Lentil Soup via Art From My Table
Monday: Savoury Ham & Cheese Frittata via Suburban Simplicity
Tuesday: Sheet Pan Dill Chicken Dinner via Meatloaf and Melodrama
Wednesday: Pizza Soup with Peppers, Italian Sausage and Spices via Vintage Kitty
Thursday: Dukkah-Crusted Baked Salmon Fillets via me
A Little Something Extra
Old Fashioned Orange Icebox Cookies via Carrie’s Home Cooking
Easy Tangerine Pomegranate Mimosas via Smart Little Cookie
Happy New Year! See you next year …
